Jeanne Goldberg, Founder: Our founder, Jeanne Goldberg, began her real estate career as a developer. After seeing her projects, developers and realtors started requesting her staging and design work. The demand grew so high, that Inhabit just had to happen!

Jeanne has a degree in Design and in addition to her real estate experience, she leverages over a decade of Graphic Design for IBM, the FBI, and the US Department of Justice. Whether in painting, graphic design or interior design, Jeanne has a passion for how color and form create emotional impact.

Casey Costello, Business Manager / Designer:​  Casey is the backbone of Inhabit. With her background in Interior design, Casey started as a designer with us, but when we quickly realized her bonus expertise in Marketing, Management, and Social Media, she seamlessly transitioned into a pivotal role as a business manager. We don’t know how she does it, but Casey juggles an amazing amount of Inhabit’s “nitty-gritty” operations; she ensures seamless processes, from measures to stages, movers and pickups but not forgetting estimates, invoices, payroll, rent, social media…we could go on, but you get the idea, we wouldn’t be here every day without Casey.

Beyond managing finances, logistics, and personnel, Casey is great at seeing the big picture and strategizing our continued growth. She constantly navigates challenges in the real estate market and supply chain, ensuring our success. 

However, we appreciate Casey’s unwavering dry wit above all, which keeps us going on even the toughest days. 

Amy Petrakis, Designer / Project Manager: When we came across Amy's resume, we knew we had to add her to our team (and our website - she's our resident model!). She previously worked for one of the largest staging companies in the DC area with a background in Event Design, Event Management and Conference management. To top that off, she holds a degree in Journalism, Communications and Business Administration. ​

Amy is a cornerstone of Inhabit, not only because of her stunning design work but because her management skills and attention to detail make every stage come off without a hitch. She manages the details of every single job from the overall look to the "wow" design surprises. Amy helps keep us up-to-date on the latest design trends all while making sure everything down to the last detail arrives safely at every stage and is installed flawlessly. Amy is also our resident website model! In the rare moments when Amy isn’t designing you can find her wherever there’s live music. Don't let her size fool you! She might be tiny, but she’s the biggest powerhouse designer and project manager we’ve ever seen. 

Sydney Watson,  Designer / Project Manager: Meet Syd, the creative force behind our home staging magic. In addition to her degree in Interior Architecture from UNC Greensboro, Syd brings over a decade of DC area staging expertise to our team. Her extensive years in the industry have honed her skills in creating inviting and on-trend spaces. Her keen eye for design and a deep understanding of spatial dynamics, allow her to transform any home into a stunning showcase. Syd just knows precisely how to make houses sell.

Beyond her design expertise, Sydney plays a crucial role in keeping the team organized and on track, ensuring every project runs smoothly and meets the highest standards.

When she’s not designing, you can find Syd on the golf course or honing her renowned cooking skills (she recently won a chili cook-off!) Syd's passion for design, coupled with her infectious sense of humor, makes her an invaluable asset to our team. 

Luis Perez,  Carpenter, Lead Mover:  Meet Luis, the mastermind behind the scenes at Inhabit. With a wealth of experience in both moving and carpentry, Luis brings a unique blend of expertise to every project.

Having honed his skills over the years, Luis not only assists in the meticulous process of staging but also adds custom crafted furniture pieces for Inhabit (and of course fixes every furniture challenge that arises). 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Luis is a devoted father to four awesome kids who adore him. When he's not busy transforming homes, you can find him on the soccer field, where he dominates the defensive line.
